Anti Cheating

The OldMetin2 team takes cheating and hacking very seriously and we do our best to protect our game and players from cheaters.

Hacking is a result of client decryption or any attempt to login with a non official client version released by OldMetin2, this is strictly prohibited and result into a permanent ban of all the people involved.

If you see any cheater in game or have any clues/rumors please feel free to let us know as fast as possible trough our contact available channels.

How it works?

We have some logs that register the player activity, if someone is cheating the measured data will be registered and send to us in no time.

The team analyse all the data carefully and ban all the accounts that are involved in cheating. The ban is permanent and usually involves the hardware ID informations (knows as hwid) which prevents cheaters from coming back to the server. Beside the hwid ban we also black list all IP's involved.

Known problems

Sometimes the protection can make false-positive registrations which result in random kicks from the server (character logout), if this happends often to you, please don't hesitate and contact us, describe what was your last activity while this happened, so we can investigate.

Closing

Besides the Knonw problems described above, there are no false-positive detections, if you cheat and get banned don't attempt to contact us because we won't unban your accounts.

Don't risk your accounts and work, your time and items/characters evolution is more important than any cheat!
